About Link Assistive
Our mission
Do what you once did or never thought possible. Our mission is to make groundbreaking assistive technology and communication solutions to give people with disabilities a voice.
Power to be You
Our technology benefits those who use it and the people around them – parents, siblings, grandparents, caregivers, teachers and clinicians as well as others they encounter in everyday life. We empower people with complex communication and mobility needs to decide what to say and do on their own terms.

Solutions for a better life
We ensure that our technology and solutions for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) are easy to use and can withstand daily stress. Whether you need an assistive communication device, a communication app, eye gaze control of your computer, low tech materials or specialised training solutions, we strive to develop top quality, effective products.
Where we started
Link Assistive, founded in 2008, was built on a strong belief in the life-changing potential of assistive communication, particularly the groundbreaking eye tracking solutions from Tobii Dynavox. With a passion for advising on and implementing custom computer access and communication solutions since 1999, our founder, Bas Tijdhof, saw firsthand the immense impact the right technology could have on people’s lives. Over the years, Link Assistive has grown into a trusted provider of assistive communication solutions across Australia and New Zealand, supporting individuals with communication and mobility challenges.
In 2024, Link Assistive joined Tobii Dynavox, the global leader in assistive communication. This merger strengthens our commitment to empowering individuals with complex communication needs by providing cutting-edge solutions, including speech generating devices, eye gaze technology, and accessible learning tools.
As part of the Tobii Dynavox family, we continue our mission of ensuring that individuals, caregivers, and professionals have access to the highest quality technology to support communication, independence, and inclusion.
