Features of the AbleNet Jelly Bean Twist
The AbleNet Jelly Bean Twist is a mechanical switch, which means that it requires the application of pressure by the user to activate. It produces a ‘click’ sound when it is pressed, providing the user with both auditory and tactile feedback. It is a wired switch, featuring a standard 3.5mm mono plug which can be inserted into a 3.5mm switch port on a communication device or similar, or into a switch interface for connection with a PC or tablet. It is suitable for users who can target a surface area of 6.4cm with their hand or with any other part of their body where the Jelly Bean can be accessibly mounted.
The Jelly Bean Twist comes with four interchangeable coloured caps (red, blue, yellow or green) to best suit the use of the switch at different times, or to help to differentiate between two or more different Jelly Bean Twists being used at the same time. The Jelly Bean Twist includes holes on the underside to enable it to be mounted to a Universal Mounting Plate for positioning.
