Terms and Conditions – Rentals

Paid Rentals

We offer equipment rentals for the following devices:

  • Tobii Dynavox TD I-13 (Touch and Gaze)
  • Tobii Dynavox TD I-16 (Touch and Gaze)
  • EyeMobile 5R
  • TD Pilot 2
  • TD I-110 Gen 2
  • TD Navio (Mini, Midi and Maxi)

There may be additional costs for software if it does not come standard on the device. You are also able to rent a mount if required.

Are rental devices new?

In general, all rental eye gaze devices are new or may be part of a rental equipment pool.

Are there minimal rental periods?

The minimum rental period for all devices is 12 weeks.

What are my options at the end of the device rental period?

At the end of the device rental period you have the option to buy-out the equipment*, return the equipment or extend the rental.

* the buy-out rules don’t apply when only a mount is rented.

Option 1 Buy Out

  • The buy-out of rental equipment needs to occur within the current rental period.
  • 50% of rental fees excluding shipping & handling will be deducted from the buy-out.
  • The buy-out invoice needs to be paid before the due date (14 days after invoice issued).
  • Purchases after returning the equipment are not eligible for a buy-out (no rental fees will be deducted).

Option 2 Return Device

  • The equipment is to be returned to Link Assistive in original packaging using the free Australia Post return shipping label provided with your rental equipment.

Option 3 Extend Rental

  • You can extend your rental in 12-week blocks. 50% of all rental extension costs are also deducted from the purchase price of the device if you proceed with a buy-out.

 Do I get a discount if I purchase?

If you decide to purchase the device, then 50% of the rental fees are deducted from the purchase price. You keep the device you have rented. The device must be purchased within the current rental period.

What support can I access?

The Link Assistive Team is available to support you through the rental period. Should you encounter technical challenges during your rental, our Technical Support team is able to log in remotely to the device to support with troubleshooting.

How to return rental equipment

The equipment is to be returned to Link Assistive in original packaging using the free Australia Post return shipping label provided with your rental equipment.
