We are here to help you during your equipment trial to make it as smooth as possible.

EyeMobile 5
STEP 1 – Connect the eye tracker – PCEye 5
Plug the PCEye 5 into the USB-C port on the side of the device.
STEP 2 – Turn on
Press the power button, which is on the top left of the tablet.
STEP 3 – Mount & Position
Make sure the user is positioned comfortably.

Positioning equipment
- Adjust screen height with the included mount.
- Adjust seating if possible.
- Use a height-adjustable table if required.
Positioning device user
- Adjust the eye tracker/screen angle to suit the user.
- Position at a distance of 45-70 cm away from the screen.
- Make sure the eye tracker is level with or just below the user’s eyes.
- If the user’s head is normally tilted, tilt the screen to match.
- If the user is usually in a reclined position, then a specialised mount may be required to position the screen.

Track Status
- Track status can be accessed by opening Eye Tracking Settings.
- The two white dots show where the user’s eyes are positioned. These must be in the middle of the black area.
- The white arrow in the green area shows the distance from the screen. Move the device closer or further away until the arrow is in the green area and the eyes are in a central position.

STEP 4 – Calibrate
Calibrate the user’s eyes within Eye Tracking Settings.
o Open Eye Tracking Settings.
o Choose eyes to track – select either both, left or right.
o Check the track status positioning.
o Customise calibration if required – select customise.
o When ready to calibrate – select calibrate.

The user does not need to calibrate every time if the position is right.
Changing stimulus type, speed, and size of target can improve calibration – adjust within the calibration settings – select customise.
There are also different options for accessing calibration and calibration settings within the communication software being used.
